The Kitchen is one of the most important rooms in the house. It is oftentimes the main social center and hub of the house. They can be a part of great rooms, family rooms, or eating areas and reflect the lifestyle of the owner.

This family kitchen is very open to the rest of the house and the same tile flooring is used throughout. A large island with a thick butcher-block top and custom hood over the stove is the focal point of the kitchen. The cabinetry is distressed and painted for a weathered appearance, and a large pantry is hidden behind doors with magnetic chalkboard panels. |
