The Kitchen is one of the most important rooms in the house. It is oftentimes the main social center and hub of the house. They can be a part of great rooms, family rooms, or eating areas, and reflect the life style of the owner.

This family kitchen is very open to the rest of the house and the same tile flooring is used throughout the entire first floor.
2 Stretten Kitchen 2
A large island with a thick butcher-block top and custom hood over the stove is the focal point of the kitchen. The cabinetry is distressed and painted for a weathered appearance, and a large pantry is hidden behind doors with magnetic chalkboard panels.
3 Aronoff Kitchen
A country kitchen with beamed ceilings, cherry cabinets, and a custom pine island with glass display drawers. The counter tops are granite and the backsplash uses one tile in a variety of shapes and sizes.
4 Rowland Tahoe Kitchen towards Dining
This kitchen is open and complimentary to the rest of the house and the plan allows for an easy flow and a variety of tasks. Barstools at the counter and a table next to it offer seating for many.
5 Rowland Tahoe Kitchen Island
The open kitchen has rich glazed cabinetry and an antique painted black center island. The predominate colors in the granite counters are amber and black and the glass mosaic tiles on the back splash are amber. Barstools at the counter and the table next to it afford seating for many.
6 Schnieder Kitchen
This family kitchen has a breakfast table and counter seating as well. White cabinets, stainless appliances and hood are used with a stained wood island. Granite counters and tile backsplash complete the room's look.
7 Alper - (hood and island)
Rich cherry cabinets, granite counters with stone floors, and commercial appliances set the tone for this new kitchen. The walls are glazed to give warmth to the room and the hood was enhanced by the use of glazing and a stencil design motif.
8 Pasadena Showcase 1
A small kitchen can be made more interesting with the use of angled surfaces and cabinetry. Painted and stained cabinet finishes are used together with ceramic tile counters and tumbled marble backsplash and counter edge.
9 Pasadena Showcase 2
This small rectangular kitchen uses angles to give it more interest The subzero refrigerator with freezer drawers looks like a cabinet. There is a custom wine rack built in the unused space that is under the staircase.
10 Friedman Kitchen
This kitchen was designed for a serious cook. The newest appliances are all in stainless and complement the honey maple cabinetry. The granite counters are a unique green and accented by the glass tile backsplash.
